Paperback books, also known as softcover books, refer to the ones with soft covers, which are different from hardcover books and board books. They are the cheapest and most cost-effective among these three types of books. The covers of paperback books are usually printed in color. Some covers are flush cut with the inner pages, while some covers are designed wider than the inner pages and then folded back, serving as bookmarks and protective covers. Both flush cut and folded covers have their respective advantages and disadvantages. Material:
Cover: 250gsm~300gsm art paper is widely used, as most paperback book covers are printed in color. Art paper has good color retention, making the design appear more vivid. The thickness of 250gsm~300gsm is chosen because it is the most cost-effective approach, with a certain thickness and ductility, and is not expensive
Inside pages: Similar to other books, there are many types of paper to choose from, with different thicknesses and color options that allow for more room for your design. The most commonly used are 70gsm~100gsm of offset paper, Dowling paper, pure paper, or art paper. These papers each have their own characteristics, and you can find more information about them by checking the paper characteristics.
Colors: Available in monochrome or full color, achieved using CMYK color matching for vibrant results due to advanced color controling systems.
Page number: According to the customer's design requirements. The thicker the paper, the more pages, and the thicker the spine, the more expensive the price. Therefore, when designing the page number, we should fully consider the impact of font size, line spacing, and other factors on the page number.
Binding: softcover books are generally bound using three methods: saddle stitching, perfect binding, and perfect sewn binding. The cheapest one is saddle stitching, but it cannot be used for books with more than 48 pages and is prone to falling pages, so it's unsuitable for long-term storage. Both wireless glue binding and sewn binding are very stable, but the pages of sewn binding can be completely opened and laid flat, while perfect binding cannot. The price of sewn binding is slightly higher than perfect binding.
Spine: Can be printed and crafted with special techniques upon request, like spot UV, hot stamping etc.
Quantity: For offset printing, larger quantities result in lower prices due to fixed costs such as plate-making and machine setup etc. Digital printing has no minimum quantity requirement

After we finished the bulk production and received your full payment, we will arrange the shipment for you. We can arrange shipment by express, by air, by train or by sea. All of these have their advantage and disadvantage, according to the weight, volume, destination and your project schedule, we will check out the most suitable and cheapest one to deliver you goods and let you know in advance. Normally will be stated in the Proforma Invoice, you can check and confirm before making deposit payment. After forwarder pick up the goods, we will track the status and let you know until goods arrive at the destination. We will take care of all your needs, please trust us!
By Express--- There are many Express we can choose from. Like UPS, TNT, FeDEx, DHL. Even all of these are express, but the delivery time sometime might have little different, the same as price. Compare with other shipping way, this is the most expensive one but fastest.
By Air--- This one is also the expensive and fast option for goods delivery.
By Train--- It’s faster than by sea but cheaper than by air, it’s international railway intermodal trains between China and Europe, so it can only serve the countries along the route.
By Sea--- Most of our customer choose to ship by sea because the cost is really cheap, but it will take longest time, depend on which country need to be shipped to.
No matter which shipping way, it’s hard to state an exact time for delivery here. For example: Ship to the USA, the same we choose to ship by sea, if the destination is in the Western Of America, it will take about 18 days to arrive at, but if the destination is in the Eastern of America, it might even take about 40 days, the price will be different too. In order to get a best suit shipping solution for your paper printing project, it’s better to let us know your requirements in advance and we will check out and try to save your money & time as much as possible.
Partial shipment--- We accept partial shipment, but need to let us know 7 days in advance so that we can arrange properly. It might cost extra, depend on how long we need to keep the goods for you and our warehouse is busy or not.
Slit order to dispatch to different destination
We accept this term upon order quantity is more than 1000pcs and total amount over US$2000. Normally we only accept 3 different destinations for each order, or it will cost extra. We work under this term many times for our customers, everything ran smoothly, if you have demand on this, please let us know in advance.
